Dean Arturo P. De Leon
Acknowledged as the Founding Dean of the Our Lady of Fatima University College of Dentistry, Dean Arturo P. De Leon is an alumnus of the Senior Dental Leadership - 2 in the year 2008.
As of today, Dean De Leon is the concurrent President of the South East Asian Association for Dental Education ( SEAADE ) and the Philippine Association of Dental Colleges ( PADC ). He is also serving as the incumbent Chairman of the Commission on Dental Education of the Asia-Pacific Dental Federation ( APDF ).
Just recently, he has finished an extended term as the National President of the Philippine Dental Association ( PDA ) and is now seating at the National Executive as its Immediate Past President.
The recipient of the 2010 Most Outstanding Professional in the Field of Dentistry as bestowed upon by the Professional Regulation Commission ( PRC ) of the Philippine government, Dean De Leon led the national integrated organization of Filipino dental professionals in its efforts not only to enhance the professional competency of members but also in involving every dental professional, dental technologists and hygienists in nation-building endeavors of the republic.
Under the leadership of Dean de Leon, the PDA was recognized as the first and only professional organization to be ISO 9001: 2008 certified as audited by the Anglo Japanese American Registrars.
Citing the PDA’ focused leadership and various programs on excellence and relevance, the Professional Regulation Commission awarded the PDA as the “Most Outstanding Professional Organization for the 2013.”
